Drag n Drop CD - install shield wizard not letting me remove it

Help! I have this program called 'drag 'n drop CD' that I'm trying to
uninstall and every time I attempt to I get that a message advising that the
installshield wizard is preparing to run and then I get a message that this
drag 'n drop program is still running and can't be removed until I exit it.
The program hasn't been used for years and I can't figure out why it's
running.. or why the installshield wizard is kicking in like that. All help
appreciated and/or advice appreciated!!

Sue,

Try uninstalling the program from Safe Mode. If not, try a reinstall and
then uninstall.

If the above suggestion does not work, try the following:

START > RUN > MSCONFIG

Look at the the things in STARTUP and see if Drag and Drop is showing.
If it is, uncheck it, reboot, and then try to uninstall.
