Drag-Move Outlines

P

Okay, this could sound like a dumb question, but ...

Whenever you drag an object around - lines, text boxes, autoshapes, etc. -
you get a dashed outline the same size of the object to let you know about
where it will end up.

The other day, those stopped appearing for me in PowerPoint 2007.

Did I somehow manage to turn them off inadvertantly? More important, how do
I get them back?

Thanks for your help,

This doesn't sound dumb, but wired to me. I don't think there will be
a setting to turn this off. Does the dash line show up for the shapes
in your Word?
