draft vs normal printing

would anyone happen to know why my draft prints come out
in purple/blue ink when it used to print in black but one
day is just changed...

Check status of black ink cartridge.

yes the ink is new and everything has been checked,
aligned, and everything

another problem i have is that the yellow is not being
printed.

First do cleaning cycle - or several...

Then a total uninstall and reinstall.

Third change the cable if it still produces strange results.

If it's a Canon bubblejet, change the printhtad

it is a HP Deskjet 722x and is shared by two computers.
