downloded updated driver from microsoft updates

after i downloaded the driver from microsoft updates my
system has had allot of errors and dose a system dump
everytime i play gta vice city and it restarts the comp
it sucks ass.

Use Hardware manu. drivers, not MS update drivers - they may be generic

Very good advice. I do no know why vendors are putting these bozo
drivers on Windows update.

Never install drivers from the MS update site.
Use drivers that you download from the hardware manufacturers site.
(and follow their install instructions)
The "auto install" feature of the MS site goes against all the advice from
hardware manufacturers, in that you have programs running during the
install. (e.g. your ISP connection).
Some video cards need have features removed using "add/remove programs" as
well.
