Hello everyone.I have two problems with IE.The first is
the download problem,automatic download doesn't work.For
example when i try to download directx 9.0b from
microsoft.com,my browser says 'done' on the bottom
bar,and everything goes blank with a little icon on top
left.
The second is that i cannot access sites using
user:p[email protected] ,it gives me a invalid
syntax error.I tryed to fix that within the registry, like
microsoft says,but still doesn't work.
Anyone who help me to fix this problems ,mail me,i'll
apreciate that..Thank you verry much.!

Here's the fix, courtesy of Alan Edwards, MVP:

If it is only .exe files, then read on and see if this is relevant:
You may have an invalid plugin.
Netscape-Style Plug-ins Do Not Work After Upgrading Internet Explorer
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=303401

Remove the plugin with Regedit.exe
Start-Run-Regedit.exe
Navigate down to this key and remove it, after exporting it as a
normal safety precaution.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Plugins\Extension\.exe

If that key exists, then you will see what plugin has been installed.
(QuickTime by the looks of it and if so, I believe they have a fix)
The key does not normally exist.
