Downloading

I am having a problem downloading anything from Internet Explorer. I keep
getting a message saying "Internet Explorer cannot download (website
name).exe, then another popup says "Internet explorer was not able to open
this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be
found". It has been doing this for about 5 days. I have run several virus
scans and several spyware protection things and have deleted my temp files.
Does anyone have any suggestions, I can't even download anything from
microsoft.

See if clearing the TIF helps, in general:

I Have had the same problem ever since I installed SP2. Did you have any
luck sorting this out with the cache cleaning?
