Downloading

I downloaded a Download Manager and removed it, after I
did this Windows 2000 Pro will not download anything. I
removed all entries of it from the Registry but still no
joy.
I know this is not really a Win2000 problem but if anyone
could help I'd appreciate it.

Try running the Internet Explorer Repair tool.

Click on START,
Go to SETTINGS
Go to CONTROL PANEL
Double click on ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS
Scroll down the list until you find MICROSOFT INTERNET
EXPLORER AND INTERNET TOOLS
Click the ADD/REMOVE button
Choose REPAIR INTERNET EXPLORER. if you don't have this choice, upgrade to
ie 5.5 or higher.
Once the repair process is complete, reboot.
