Downloading Updates

I am trying to update my father's computer with Windows
update. However, there are so many updates to be done
that it would take days on his 56K line to complete these
downloads.

Is there a way to download the updates to another computer
(mine, since I have hi-speed), and then save to a CD, then
transfer those updates to the other computer?

Any help would be appreciated.

No problem...write down all the needed updates, then go to
the update site and click on 'windows update catalog', if
you can't see it, you have to check this option
under "personalize Windows update" so it will be an option.
Now pick the OS and download the updates to your Harddrive
and then you can copy them to CD.
