downloading multiple files using windows ME

I have reviewed some replies to this problem (increasing the number of multiple downloads allowable) and have found none that specifically apply to ME. I have tried editing the registry, but cannot find anything that directly corresponds to the advice at this link: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=28240

Thanks for the help. I would like to be able to download a minimum of 8 files at the same time.
 
The steps described in KB article also apply to Windows ME. You can use it
in Windows ME to increase the number of simultaneous connections in IE.
