Downloading and Images

When I download a document it only gives me the read only version and my
images are not all showing up on my pc .. Can someone help me with getting it
back to normal plz.. ty
 
I don't know what type of documents you are loking at but for Adobe Acrobat
PDF documents if the author writes it as read only then it cannot be changed.
Sorry.
