On doing a virus scan I found that I had a file infected
by "download.trojan". The file was "AStart.Exe". Nortons
Anti Virus could not repair it and suggested I quarenteen
it, which I did. I then deleted the file to be doubly sure.

I again ran Nortons Virus scan afterwards and found my PC
was clear.

Is this AStart.Exe file a critical file?

Am I now OK?

Thanks.
I have a GE Force 2 Graphics card

Do you think it would be a good idea if I
installed "AStart.Exe" again and if so what site would I
go to, to install it from
.
If all is working don't worry about it. The Geocities
link above says that Astart.exe is used for tweaking
video settings if you can adjust yours then why worry?
Good luck.
