Download SP 2 to a CD

I want to install XP SP 2 from a CD on my single personal computer , rather
than through windows update (I had trouble last time). There is a download
but they caution that its only for ITs and multiple compters. What do
multiple computers have that I don't. I'd buy the download if it were
available. I would also order the CD but can't wait two weeks or six weeks
for it to get here. Any suggestions.

Do not worry about that notice.
Simply download and burn to CD.
The SP-2 downloaded from that site is identical to the one you order on CD.
It is just that Microsoft prefers people use the Express Installation since
it uses less bandwidth.

He could also borrow an SP2 CD from a friend. Even Microsoft
give their approval to doing so.

I order my SP2 CD & got in in 10 days. The problem will be it does not
include
all the updates which is a pain to download on a dial up connection like
mine.
I posted the same question below. search on subject line on this forum
"updates to memory" . It was 1/11/2006 8:02 PM. LOL marvo
