R Ramesh [MS-MVP] Oct 18, 2003 #2 To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download" option for that filetype: Click "Start" -> "Program Files" -> "Windows Explorer". Then click "Tools" -> "Folder Options". Change to the "File Type" tabs. Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype (example :"PPT Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation") and click the "Advanced" button. Then check the option "confirm open after download". Also, set the "NoSelectDownloadDir" to "0" http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/442/ -- Regards, Ramesh [MS-MVP] Aim: SRamesh2k (e-mail address removed) http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Program http://mvp.support.microsoft.com ~ Please reply to newsgroup ~ I UNCHECKED PROMT FOR DOWNLOAD PATH ACCIDENTALLY And there IS NO WAY I CAN FIND A WAY TO CHECK IT AGAIN???
