download options

By mistake I checked the "remember my preference" for a
download link. Now everytime i try to download a file it
automatically plays it in Internet Explorer rather than
allowing me to save it at a specified location. Please
help me disable that "play it in Internet Explorer" option.

Hi,

Open windows explorer>tools>folder options>file types> extension that
you need to change. Click advanced>check confirm after download and
apply then ok your way out.

1. Open Explorer
2. Click the TOOLS menu
3. Select FOLDER OPTIONS
4. Then select FILE TYPES tab

Locate the file type (extension), click ADVANCED and click EDIT.
Note the "confirm download" box. Check it.
