download from pop3 server when pop3 server does own filtering

client using a a pop3 email server, and that server already filters incoming
mail into Inbox and Junk (very limited ability to change filter settings.)
Can Outlook be instructed to grab from pop3 emails from server Inbox into
Outlook Inbox, and from server Junk folder into Outlook Junk folder?
 
POP3 - Is "Inbox" on server to Inbox in Outlook and nothing else.

IMAP4 - See Inbox, Junk, Sent, .etc folders located on server. (IMAP gets
its own message store in Outlook. Therefore you won't see Junk to Junk,
..etc)

If you're using a Yahoo-based server with a paid account, you can certainly
instruct SpamGuard Plus to put everything into its Inbox and then use
Outlook to filter the messages as they arrive. I wouldn't choose that for
myself, however. I think Yahoo's SpamGuard Plus filter does a fairly good
job.
