Download Files in IE6

Hi,
I have windows xp home and for some reason in IE6 when I
click a file to download, then I select open (NOT save),
it doesn't show the IE6 window with the progress bar and
saying its downloading to a Tempory Folder. Instead it
just downloads with no window and when its down it opens.
I can I turn on this window?

Hi Bob,

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types/[File Type in
Question]/Advanced. Put a check in the box that reads: Confirm open after
download.
