Downgrading

If Windows Messenger no longer supports Hotmail email
messages then I would like to revert back to 4.7. Please
can you tell me how to downgrade from 5.0 to 4.7. Thanks

Greetings Stuart,

To go back to Windows Messenger 4.7, simply uninstall Windows Messenger 5 by
clicking Start, then Run, type (or copy/paste) the following:
msiexec.exe /x {ABEB838C-A1A7-4C5D-B7E1-8B4314B10138}
and then click OK.

or if you're using MSN Messenger 6, you can uninstall it from Start, Control Panel, Add or
Remove Programs. Click MSN Messenger 6 and then click 'Remove'.

Then, you can reinstall Windows Messenger 4.7 from here:
