Downgrading WMP

M

Mark

Hi all,

I recently updated to Windows Media Player 10. SInce that
time, my computer has slowed dwn considerably, and I
wouldn't think that this would have had anything to do with
WMP but I have run numerous virus/spyware/adware scans etc.
and it still moves slowly - especially when I play music on
my computer.

I wish to downgrade back to Windows Media Player, but I
seem to be unable to. I have tried to delete it from the
Program Files in C:/ but I am denied. I also tried to run a
WMP 9 setup, but it won't work because I already have WMP
10 still on my system.

Any help with how to downgrade WMP is greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Mark

I did a rollback last night; it brought the PC back to WMP 9.0/ You might
search for the term under Help.
