Downgrading from XP to Win2K Pro

If my machine came loaded and licensed with Windows XP
and I want to downgrade it to Windows 2000 Professional---
does anyone know if my XP license fee covers the older
products also...or would I have to buy a Win2K license
also?

Second part of my question, if I have the Windows 2000
media---would I just use the XP licence key to load
it...or would I need a whole new key?

Thanks in advance for any info you might have,

No, this is not supported. The Windows XP license is valid for Windows
XP and nothing else.

There are some instances where there are downgrade rights; you'd have to
check with the computer manufacturer and/or Microsoft to be sure. And it
might make a difference as to whether you have home or pro installed.
However, you'll still need a Windows 2000 Pro cd and key; it's not like your
XP key would let you install 2000.
