Why would you want to downgrade the XP Home? XP Pro has more features!

i need to downgrade because i'm at college and they lent
out XP Pro but i dont have the key for it to reinstall,
and i used a friend's XP Pro installation to reformat my
drive but now i cant update my windows because it
recognizes the windows update as piracy. so i need to
use my XP Home disc that i have and start from there
until i find my XP Pro key

Downgrading is not possible. The only way to accomplish this is
with a clean installation of XP Home.
