downgrade to outlook 2000 from outlook 2002 SP3

I need to downgrade a copy of Outlook 2002 SP3 to Outlook 2000 due to
licensing issues. This is my plan:

Export my personal folders (with subfolders included) to a .pst file
Uninstall Office XP
Install Office 2000
Import the .pst file from Outlook 2002 into Outlook 2000

Will Outlook 2000 be able to read the .pst file from Outlook 2002?

Yes, both versions are compatible. Only the new Outlook 2003 pst file is
not.
