Downgrade from Vista Business to Vista Home Premium?

I am getting Vista Business edition thru the powertogether promotion, but due
to business policy at my work which would not allow me to install it at work,
I will be using it at home.

However, I really would like to have Windows Media Center capabilities. I
read that the Anytime Upgrade would allow me to upgrade to Ultimate. But the
cost of that was just announced as being $139. That's more than I can afford.

As I don't really need the Business edition extras, I'd rather have Home
Premium since it has Media Center. I know this would actually be a
"downgrade" but is there any possible way to do this from Business?

If all you want is the Media Center stuff, invest in third-party
software that provides that capability. It's much less expensive.

Yes. I'm aware of other software that provides MCE capabilities. But part of
the problem is that I want to use it with my Xbox 360, which means MCE is the
only thing that will provide full functionality (media types, etc. are
limited without it).

If you receive a non-restricted copy and not an NFR, you can see if you can
find someone to trade with. Hang around the computer store on the debut or
sell yours on eBay and buy what you want.

Were you ever able to figure out how to do this? I'm in the same boat and my
Vista Business arrived yesterday.

We're going to need a bigger boat. I'm looking to do the same thing for the
same reasons. i.e. prefer to have the MCE capability with XBOX 360....

Again we need a larger boat. I haven't been able to find out anything. Is
there a way to contact Microsoft about it?

I'm using the Vista Ultimate CPP Beta, and got Vista Business RTM through
MSDNAA. I need to figure out how to up-downgrade.
