Double Personal Folder

I imported Outlook.pst to my new laptop, but now have double Personal
Folders. That is I have a Personal Folder, with Inbox, Contacts, etc. ;
Archive Folders PLUS another Personal Folders with Inbox, Contacts, etc.

The second Personal Folders is EXACTLY the same as the first. Anything that
is done in the first, is mirrored in the second and vice versa. If I edit,
add, delete, send, receivce - anything in either one, the action is mirrored
in the other, so .....

I have only ONE Outlook.pst file, but it is huge - over 500 MB.

Suggestions?

right click on the personal fodler and try closing it. In case that does not
work create a new profile and then import the messages back. Before you do
any of these steps back up the pst file
