Double Line Spacing in Copied Text

Hello.

When i copy a piece of text that is formatted with single line spacing into
frontpage all the line breaks are replaced with paragraphs. I can change all
the </p>s back to <br>s manually but this is tedious and time consuming. Is
there a way to do it automatically. I have tried the Format > Paragraphs >
Line spacing option but it doesnt work.

Thank you

Where are you copying from?

Well, that is a tricky business. HTML is pure text. It is formatted using
HTML markup tags. A Word document is pure binary. It is formatted using
binary code.

When you copy text from Word, it is formatted. When you paste it into the
Design view of FrontPage, FrontPage has to transform it into HTML.
Typically, it will put it inside a <p></p> tag (paragraph). You can get a
certain amount of control by using the Edit|Paste Special menu command to do
the pasting. If you don't want any formatting at all, you can paste it right
into the text in the Source view.
