Double Default Monitor in Device manager

Under "Monitor' in Device Manager" it shows two instances of "Default
Monitor". I can uninstall one but upon restart two instances will appear
again. My monitor is working okay, but why is the monitor listed twice. I
haven't noticed this on other computer. Is this normal?
 
Does your video card have two connection (any combo of VGA/DVI ports)?

By chance I just updated the video driver and that seems to have fixed the
issue. Now only one Monitor entry shows in Device Manager.
