Double clicking Network Drive opens My Documents instead

Hello...

I have a user running Win XP sp2. Whenever she double clicks My Computer (or
accesses it from Start - My Computer) all drives are displayed properly. Then
when she double clicks the Shared Network drive, her My Documents folder is
displayed instead. The only work around is for her to display the folders on
the left, and then navigate to the shared drive. I right-clicked on it and
chose Properties. It says that it's the I: drive (out network share). I was
going to do System Restore, but she told me "it's always been like that." I'm
wondering if its a Registry entry or what I could do to fix it other than
using recovery disks.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for trying to help me. But the problem is not with mapping a
network drive. The settings are completely correct. It is machine specific
not user specific. It shows that the drive is mapped to the network, but only
My Documents is displayed when double-clicking that particular drive.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to wipe out
the computer and reinstall everything...

Thank you

From within a Command Prompt type Net Share [Enter]
If the My Documents path is shown, then use Net Share and
include the sharename appended with /Delete
