I had a problem with my WinXP Pro taskbar. It didn't show my open
applications. I found a similar question posted by Steve and followed Alex
Nichol's advice and downloaded "Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!" and I thought it
worked perfect.
But when I re-started, I get all the buttons twice. My taskbar seems to be
split in several parts (other than the quick launch and clock parts) and all
open
applications have buttons in two of the parts. I tried to use the same
"Taskbar
Repair Tool Plus!" to "Restore to Default" but the repair button is greyed
out. I think that means that I need to buy a licence to use that option but
that is impossible for me. Is there anything else I can do to restore the
taskbar to what it's supposed to be like and remove the second button for
each application?
Thank you in advance.
P.S. I apologise for posting this question again but it fell way behind
(page 13) with no replies. I tried to bring it back to the top by posting a
reply myself but that doesn't work here.
