Dot Matrix KX-P1624

Since installing Windows XP the drivers for this printer and my other
one HP680 C, have been
"upgraded" by the Wizard from 2.0 to 5.0. Unfortunately I can no
longer use the banner paper
function at all. The Panasonic site does not list this model anymore.
ditto for the Epson Generic
24 Dot Matrix. I used to print family trees up to 94 inches long! Now
what can I do?

Try adding the appropriate banner spec to the available paper sizes.

Navigate to Start Printers and Faxes File Server
Properties Forms on:

Scroll down to the appropriate specification and select it. Save form
and OK out.

Let us know.

Hallo Tom, yeah, that seemed to work;but in the end I get the message
'Family tree maker not responding' locked up at this point, have to
reboot. tried to print KXP manual using Word perfect
offic 2000. Now printers gone crazy; the HP prints a few symbols in the
top line, another sheet of paper again and again, no controll but to
shut printer off..with printer off i check and find another five
six print jobs in que. cannot delete. most the same thing with the dot
matrix.
My neighbor says don,t you know they put a poison pill in XP that you
can't use Corell?Say what, I have to get rid of that? Then I am left
with wordpad and notepad from Windows 95? I wish I could go back ; A
wasted $ 175.00 I guess I have to delete the drivers and connect /
install the printers
again. As the XP cover says it is so easy to upgrade, oh yeah.
