Hi all !

I still use some old programming language software for DOS (Borland C 3 and
Borland Pascal 7) in WXP Pro env.

The programs work fine in window mode, but when I to switch to full screen
the program freezes - no keyboard action detected; I can switch back and
everything is OK.

It's something wrong either with the shortcut properties, either with XP
settings.

Waiting 4 help.

Running these in compatibility mode? Sure they are compatible with XP?
XP only provides an emulation of DOS, not DOS, with stricter controls
on access to hardware/memory, etc. Odds are these programs simply won't
work well in XP and if you need to have them work well, you may need to
boot into DOS or versoins of Windows for which these products were made.

Seek more guidance from Borland's online support resources or their web
site.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

These programs used to work until I reinstalled WXP. I also run these
programs on other computers with W2000 pro, so I don't think it's a
compatibility problem.

Well ... just becuase they work on Windows 2000 doesn't necessarily mean
that they will work in XP (which is an OS released a bit later). Why
not run them on Windows 2000 and forget about trying to figure out the
problem with XP?

Perhaps the problem and root-cause is related to the reason why you
re-installed XP? Re-installation is usually a *very* drastic measure
and usually only just temporarily covers up some problem somewhere
(hardware, esp).

Does Borland have any comment about these apps on XP?

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I have similar problem.
Can you tell me what is your MB chipset (or MB model) and graphic card?
