I can no longer open and run my DOS based medical
management software called Raintree since installing
Service Pack 1 for Windows XP. I am unable to edit files
in dos and my software support personnel from Raintree
have no suggestions for me. Anyone else experience this
or have a suggestion

OK, you are unable to do anything in DOS because XP does not contain
DOS in any way, shape, or form. Oh, it does have a windows that
resembles the old 9x DOS box, and that it will run many DOS commands
and programs, but many won't run either. It is a command line
interpreter for XP, and IS NOT DOS.

If your program was working OK before installing SP1, you may have to
consider uninstalling the service pack (if possible for you) and
foregoing it.
