doorbell sounds on my computer

For some reason my computer keeps making doorbell sounds
coming through the speakers. Can't figure out what it is
or how to turn off the sound without turning the volume
all the way down-please help-I think it is some kind of
alert alarm on my computer

Try going to Control Panel | Sounds and Audio Devices, and
listening to each sound on the Sounds tab. You should be able to
find the doorbell sound there, and figure out which app is making
it.

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
