I used to be able to connect 3 computers at home with peer to peer. Lately
when I try to connect to my main computer I get tthe message compter not
accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resourse. I
can use the internet on all computers and can ping one another but that one
computer won't let me access the shared folder. any suggestions?

Check your Firewall settings on that computer. It will be your problem.

thanks for the suggestion. I shut down both the windows firewall and my
