Hello,

I know that I may have to chase this up with the Nortons Ghost help, but
I wanted to know what it may have done to cause the following.

I have XP2 with what I believe is all the latest updates. I have not put
SP3 on unless it just did that automatically.

I have had a few crashes and lost too much stuff in the past and wanted
to clone my primary C drive so if it happens again I don't have to spend
days getting things up to speed again.

I used Ghost to clone the C (with XP) partition to a good drive of the
same make, size etc.. I have done this umpteem times so know what I am
doing.

It did it's job well and when I rebooted I was able to continue my work.

When I had time, I wanted to check the clone drive so swapped it.

It booted up fine but when I was expecting to get the Login screen, I
got another same colour and style screen, but with a smaller XP Windows
logo etc. I was unable to interact with it as there was nothing to
interact with although the mouse was moving fine.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks

rock
