Short Answer is that it isn't possible. u have to get

XP-Pro

Long answer is that if you come across the old Powertools
for XP then this application which was released by MS
allows you to join a domain.

No, XP Home can't join a domain.

But it can access domain resources, so long as you
supply domain username/password each time you
connect to a domain resource.
