Domain Networking

Can someone explain or give me a link to a site that
tells me what a domain network is and the diffrences
between it and a workgroup. and posssibly how to set one
up

The main difference is that a domain has a central database of objects.
Users, passwords, resources, etc
All passwords in a domain are checked against the domain controller.

In a workgroup, and dependant upon file system the authentication is local
to each machine

To have a domain you need a Server, setup as a domain controller.
