Domain Names across Forests

We are in the process of joining a sister companies AD forest to our AD
forest. I am wondering if there will be any issues with the domain names if
some are the same?

(Windows 2003 AD for Company1)
aruba.company1.com ---- NetBIOS name is aruba
jupiter.company1.com ---- NetBIOS name is jupiter


(Windows 2003 AD for Company2)
aruba.company2.com ---- NetBIOS name is aruba
ford.company2.com ---- NetBIOS name is ford


I would think that users in the aruba domain of Company1 would not be able
to access the aruba domain in Company2 with some applications that use
NetBIOS.

No worry. It is going to be only external trust. So,only
by creating external trust you solve this issue.
and anyway the domain netbios name are different.
That will not create any problem when you add it by
external trust.
