Vinter, visit:

http://www.arin.net/whois/

From there, you can type in the IP and find the information about the
registered domain ... If you are just looking for the domain name, you may
be able to do an "nslookup xx.xx.xx.xx" where the x's are replaced with the
IP address of the box from the command line if the device on the net has DNS
entries (such as most web servers, etc) ...

I want to know the domain of a certain internet PC by means of its IP
address. Is that possible and how?

Connect to the internet.
Open a command prompt (start menu, run, type CMD and hit enter)
type NSLOOKUP ipaddress
e.g. NSLOOKUP 127.0.0.1
hit enter.

Thanks,
I'm sorry but I meant the Windows Domain of which the PC was logged in. This
domain checks the user and the password for authentication etc.

Can you farther help?

regards
