Hi there...

I know it is possible to send a message using the WinPopup ("NET
SEND") mechanism (given that the Messenger service is started) to all
users logged on to a computer, or to all users in the domain, or to a
specific user on a specific computer.

It is possible, though, to send a message to some user in the domain,
and have the domain server send it to him, wherever he is logged on
(so that a user can send a message to another, without having to know
on which machine he is logged on now?)

Any hints appreciated.

Thanks,
-- Tom

use the net send username. What happen is when the user logs in he register
a netbios records with win for his username. Net send will send it to the IP
address that is registered. The only down side is if user log into multiply
machines. It only send it to the one that is registered
