Domain Logon via dialupnetwork

Hi alltogether,

I've got a problem with a dialup connection from a W2k-
Client to our NT4-Domain. The Client is connected via ISDN
to a multiprotocoll-router.
The Client can access...
- via ping every server or Client within the LAN (via IP
and Hostname(<- at least the servers))
- a share on every W2k server

The Client can't access
- a share on a NT4 server
- can't start logon script of the nt4-dc although I use
the dialup at the logon screen.

My problem is that the client has to access the
departments share on a NT4-server and has to run the logon
script.

Hope sb. can help me.

Is this W2K-client booting with a valid username and using the domain your
NT4 is in?

The User- and Computer-Account has domain rights. Only the
dial-in user has no domain rights, because the router
can't access the sam.

huh? Well, what has the router got to do with it? If you can't dial in with
domainrights, you're never going to get it to work.
It should be possible to do so however.
Where is this router, serverside or ras-client?

The rourter is a external device from LANcom Systems.
So the router just establish the connection. Normally it
has to be possible then to logon to the domain.
Only the NT4-Domain-Servers and other NT4-Servers don't
allow the access. W2k-servers allow the access, without
any new query.
When I try to logon with this User within the lan I can
normally work.
