Domain Logon Time 5-6 Min.

I setup the users and computers from the server, and then authorized each
computer to connect and be part of the domain. They restart. When I log onto
them using my administrative account (esena) or the users standard account,
it takes about 5 minutes to log on. I then log off (instant) and try it
again, and the time is still 5 minutes. Any way I can fix this?

First thing to do, make sure the clients are configured with the correct DNS
entry. Everytime I have seen this type of scenario, DNS was either not
configured or mis-configured.

OK, I'm on the DNS config thing. Now uh, what do I do?

You need to make sure the DNS is pointed to the right DNS server. Normally
this is configured through DHCP. Run ipconfig on the client and see what DNS
server the client is configured to use. If its not the right one you have 2
options. Put the right one in DHCP, or configure it at the clients. The DHCP
is usually the best option, but not having more info, it possible you can
not do it with DHCP.

Reboot the clients to make sure its registered (ipconfig /registerdns )
would work also. If this doesn't fix it let us know, we'll see what else we
can do.
