Hello!

Does anyone know why after I get the "page cannot be
displayed" error, the browser decides on its own to go to
a page called "Domain Lander Page" that's on Overture's
servers??

This is the url:
http://xml.overture.com/d/search/p/igetnet/html/domainlande
r/?Keywords=www.swissphotomodel.com
and sometimes it also opens this url in another window
http://www.your.com/index.php?nf=1

This really bothers me.

Also, in the internet advanced options, even when I select
the radio button "do not search from the address bar", it
doesn't stay selected. The next time I open the Internet
options there is no button selected in the "When
searching" options. Why?

Thank you very much for your help.

You fail to state what URL you were trying to get to in the first place.
And, does this "lander" page show up no matter what page you are trying to
get to? Only when the page is unavailable? Only when the page is in the same
domain? etc. etc.

Get and update through the online update function Ad-Aware and SpyBot Search
and Destroy.
Update through their online update function and run them and at least once
per week.

Hi,

I tried program mentioned below and disabled the igetnet
spyware, but my browser still does the evil deed of going
to overture which also prevent me from using the browser
back button cause that just redirects back to overture.
THis is extremely aggravating.

Has anyone found a better way of getting rid of iGetNet's
helper which I never asked for.

Thanks

David

Can you just do:

Tools | Internet Options

and where it has the edit box for Home Page put in something like
http://www.msn.com and hit apply? Otherwise, perhaps I'm not
understanding the problem?
