Domain Group Policies differ in Windows 2000 and XP

On my network I have several group policies that I am applying to my
desktops using Active Directory OU's. We have upgraded most of our desktops
from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro, and now when I try to edit the
group policies in XP, I have noticed several features are missing that were
included in Windows 2000 Pro. This includes Folder Redirection (In User
Configuration, Windows Settings) and Internet Explorer Maintenance (for
setting proxy settings, etc.) So now when I want to edit these policies, I
have to log on to one of my Windows 2000 Servers to make these changes.

Is there any way to get these old policies back on my Windows XP desktop, to
save myself from going to my server any time I need to make a change? What
happened with those old policies anyway?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It seesm like you may need to add the ADMs for these policies in your policy
editor. The link below shows you how to add ADMs. For example you will
need to add inetres.adm for IE maintenance.
