domain field is greyed out?

Hi,

I want to join my machin to a domain but the field is greyed out. I even
gave right in the Local Security Settings to grant access for the user to
'add a workstation to a domain'

Also, the user logoning on is an Administrator. What do you think the
problem is? Please advise. Thanks
 
Open control panel | system. Go to computer name tab. At the bottom where it
says to rename this computer or join a domain click change and fill in the
obvious. You might also need to change the network id just above.
