I'm a student learning about domains (active directory) and to set one up.
I'm in the middle of setup a small network to get a hands on how it work.
I'm having problem getting my client (windows xp) to connect to my server
(windows 2003) with the domain. I have the Domain install with DNS but I get
the error.

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.server.local.com
Common causes of this error include the following:

Either your client XP is not configured to use only
the correct DNS servers (of AD) or the zone content
in DNS for support of AD is incomplete.
Check the Tcp/Ip config of the XP, and if it is set to
use only the AD DNS server, then you like have not
correctly configured your DNS on the DC.
