I have computers our WAN that do not have the remote
desktop service turned on so that Corporate IT had
connect to fix problems. How can this be turned on
without being at the pc. I have tried with Active
directory's manage and can get to the services tab.
Is this a service that can be enabled?

It is, but it requires more than a service enable... It also requires
either a group policy or a registry change to enable it... The
easiest task is to enable it in your domain group policy, then apply
the GP to the domain...
