domain can't recieve email from outlook.

my son is in college and his school has a *edu domain.

when sending an email to him or anyone else at the school with a *.edu email
address thru oulook or oulook express the emails are not recieved

they ( the schools IT dept) told me to check things out with my isp but
that is not the problem i am told by my ISP.

My isp says the problem need to be resolved thru microsoft.

If I use web based email like hotmail or optonline it will go thru.

they say the emails are not being recieved at the school at all not even as
spam.

I have checked my antivirus email settings as well and they appear to be
configured properly. Does anyone out there know what I can do.

When you send them, do they move from your Outbox to your Sent Items folder?
If so, they WERE sent correctly, as far as Outlook knows. Make sure you are
NOT scanning your email, especially the outgoing email, with your antivirus
program.
