Does word have a fast key for "strikethrough"?

I can't find a fast key for strikethrough? Do I have to use a macro? If so,
how do I write one or does someone know where I can get one? I would
appreciate any help. Thank you all in advance!

There isn't one by default, but you can make one.

Open the Tools > Customize dialog and click the Keyboard button. In the next
dialog, select Format in the Categories column and select Strikethrough in
the Commands column. Put the cursor in the "Press new shortcut key" box and
press whatever key or combination you want. (If it's already assigned to
something else, that will appear below the box; if you want to try a
different key, press Backspace to remove the first choice.)

Make sure the "Save changes in" box shows the right place (if it's
Normal.dot, the assignment affects all documents). Click the Assign button,
then the Close button, and OK in the Customize dialog.
