How do I remove strikethrough?

I use MS Word 2003 (SP3) and have a long document in progress that
inexplicably has every line struck through. Word Help is great at telling
one how to achieve strikethrough but dreadful at how to cancel it (a common
failing of Word Help).

It's also possible that you have inadvertently turned on Track Changes, and that
the option for that feature is set to indicated changes with strikethrough. See
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/trackchanges/HowTrackChangesWorks.html for
instructions.

Select all - Format - Font - clear strikethrough.
