No. There are third party software for WPA or the driver for the device
may have came with utility software containing WPA support.

Not windows2000, but windows 2000 will not support wireless acces anyway
like XP does. You have to use third party software, mostly delivered with
the wireless card. If this software supports WPA, you can use WPA with
windows 2000.

I did install a SMC wireless cardbus adapter in a noteboot with windows
2000. The software of SMC does support WPA.
