Accessing Windows2000 Prof. sharing on Windows2003 Server. . .

Dear all,

I am using Windows2003 Server and Windows2000 server, I shared one folder on
my client (Windows2000 Prof) and I gave full access for everyone. When I
want to connect this share on Windows2003 server I get " Account not
authorized to log on in from this statiton" error message. These servers are
in the same workgroup. And Active directory is not installed on them. Also I
tried to map this sharing on Windows2003 Server but I got "This account is
not authorized to log in from this station" message.

But I didn' t get this error when I want to access this sharing from
Windows2000 Server.

Do you advice anything about this issue?

Best regards,

On the Win2k/Pro machine, make sure that you have created a user account and
password that exactly duplicates the user account and password used to log
onto the Windows 2003 machine.

On the Win2k/Pro machine go to Administrative Tools/Local Security
Policy/Local Policies/User Rights Assignment. Double click on Access this
computer from the network, and add the local user account.
